Names: Avatars of Our Souls
Names are basically engraved into our being. When I think about who I am, I immediately go to "I'm Ryan Zimmet." Honestly, who else would I be? There is not a single other person in the world that I can see myself being other than Ryan Zimmet. My personality, vernacular, and essence are all represented by the combination of letters R, Y, A, N, Z, I, M, M, E, and T. That is why names are so important. They take our personas and give them a sort of place to reside. The most accurate way to describe someone is to say who they are—to say their name. I can say that someone is intelligent, but does that really convey the fact that they are intelligent? No, it does not. There are so many different types of intelligence that to give a simple adjective is futile. There is so much more than just "intelligent." This goes for all traits. People are so multifaceted and complex that it is impossible to just list off their different traits and expect to define someone. Further it is impossible to completely describe an individual. Well actually, you could just say their name.
